A reddish-brown material, it tends to oxidise over time, taking on a uniform greyish-brown hue. Although it is a particularly hard wood, it has excellent outdoor resistance characteristics, making it suitable for medium and large flooring areas with medium/high foot traffic, for use in private, residential, public and maritime settings. Its competitive price makes it an excellent alternative to various exotic woods. It must be installed with visible screws or pre-assembled modules. It is not suitable for wall cladding and is not recommended for installation around swimming pools as it tends to lose some of its reddish colour when in contact with water.
