The wood of the spruce is light, soft, light colour with reddish grain. The sapwood is a little bit lighter but still similar to the heartwood

Planing: easy.
Gluing: easy.
Nailing: easy but it has a moderate holding.
Finishing: without big difficulties.

Main uses:
Structural beams, window scantlings, solid wood. Interior constructions: windows, doors, stairs, flooring, balconies, wall and ceiling coverings.
