Derwood is a joint-stock company that has been in the Italian wood market since 1984. Over the years, we have selected the best production of timber and semi-finished products from all over the world, to meet the exacting demands of the furniture and carpentry sector. The ‘Derwood’ name is today synonymous with ‘guarantee’ and ‘reliability’ for the care taken in creating and supplying our products, diversifying our range, and keeping up consistently with all the latest trends.

At Derwood, we have always been sensitive to legal and sustainable forest management issues. We only sell products that come from controlled sources of raw materials and semi-finished products, which thus comply with the requirements of EU Regulation No. 995/2010.

On some products, we also provide FSC® and PEFC™ certification to guarantee their traceability.

The processing and finishing works are carried out mainly at two production units: The first is in Via Fornace No. 2 Martellago (Venice province) and extends over about 12,000 m2 of which 6,500 m2 are covered. This is where you will find our sales team and registered HQ.

The second is at about 10 km from our Martellago unit, in Via Ponte Grasso No. 13-16, Salzano (Venice province). It extends over some 10,000 m2, of which 3,500 m2 are covered. Fresh wood is stored here to be air dried, and then placed inside drying cells. The size of our warehousing capability allows us to offer an excellent assortment and availability of products, with full guarantee of lasting quality.
