General description:
Compared to the European walnut, the American one has a more uniform colouring, a brown-purple colour. The sapwood has a vertical and more regular pattern and the trunks grow much more in height.

FInishing: no big difficulties.

Main uses: Interior furniture, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors and stairs, decorative veneers, carving and lathe-milling.
